Pillow Plate: versatile and efficient heat transfer technology
Pillow Plate is a proprietary technology developed by FIC for manufacturing laser-welded heat transfer surfaces, composed of two stainless steel sheets inflated under controlled pressure. This structure enables optimal heat transfer fluid flow and perfect adhesion to contact surface.
Thanks to its versatility, Pillow Plate is used to manufacture tanks, jackets, heads, channels, hoppers, condensers and heat exchangers for numerous sectors: food, chemical, pharmaceutical, refrigeration and heat treatment.
