Our client, an EPC contractor in the industrial flue gas treatment sector, requested a solution for heat recovery from flue gases in a Waste to Energy plant in Germany distributed across 3 lines, with aggressive flue gases and design conditions at 25 bar pressure on the cooling fluid side.
Solution
FIC sized, designed and built 6 heat exchangers, 2 per line, in Duplex SAF2205 based on proprietary technology for thermal design according to PED Directive for the required design pressure. The heat exchangers were manufactured in 12 months respecting the timeline required at contract award and guaranteeing the client the required heat recovery.
